I was playing around and slightly wounded the blog.
It’s been healed as far as I can tell.
Almost finished, I’m updating the rest of the pages now.
So far so good, I’m running some browser compatibility checkers; I’m using Fire Fox and IE7 for my viewing and debugging.
I’m going to make a new header, hope ya’ll like it.
You may be viewing this post because you tried viewing the ‘http://www.techiedesign.net/‘
This is because I am currently editing and redesigning the site, fixing issues for browser compatibility as well as some new design features.
Stay tuned!
Today I visited my site using Fire Fox from backtrack, and I was appalled by the layout, there is a major difference when viewing between Fire Fox and Internet Explorer 7, so as of right now, techiedesign.net is “built” for IE7/is best being viewed in IE7.
I want to fix this problem as soon as I can since I know there is a majority of FF users out there. I haven’t seen this site in any other browsers so I wouldn’t know about all you “other” guys. :p
I have had enough of all this spam I’ve been getting, from now on, you must be logged in to post a comment, you must register to do so.
I know this might take away some pure comments because most people don’t like registering, but I’ve had enough of the spam. I hope you understand.

I can’t wait to build my own desktop, I’m saving up right now, and at this rate, will build one sometime between Dec. - March, open window hu? haha
I won’t wait for Windows 7 or the new Intel CPU, build will consist of a Core2Duo, 8600GT, and XP!!!, as well as some other goodies. Problem is my price doesn’t include a decent monitor and perephrials, so I might be stuck with and old CRT until I can get a monitor D:
Meet Windows 7!

Windows 7 does not feature a sidebar as Vista did/does. Instead, your gadgets will float on your desktop wherever you put them.

View of the startmenu.

“Windows 7 introduces Libraries, which are virtual folders that provide easy access to related content, regardless of its location on your PC or even on your network. While the OS will ship with several preset Libraries (Documents, Music, Photos, Video) based on file type, you can create additional Libraries based on criteria you set, such as photos created on a specific date or music genre.”

Ah yes, finally a new UAC. I still might disable it though…

Ah yes, a new theme editor, still not enough options/things to customize it seems, Microsoft will be calling themes “Styles” before Windows 7 ships.

Ever been multi-tasking with several windows open and you need to get to your desktop? Click the bottom right hand corner of your taskbar.

Bingo!

Here’s what seems to be WMP11 on a diet.

Oh sweet, MSPaint just get better, it has that ribbon menu thingy, I’ll still use gimp.

MS Calculator got a makeover, I do say it looks better, if I’m not mistaken, Vista’s calculator was the same as XP’s.
